This exfoliating scrub is made from simple, all-natural ingredients, and is specifically formulated to ensure it will not irritate people with sensitive skin.
Unlike many coffee scrubs, we decided to use brown sugar instead of sea salt because it is not only an excellent exfoliator, but it is more gentle on the skin, and it is packed with rich Vitamins and anti-bacterial properties.
We chose to use Java coffee as the bean of choice for our exfoliating scrub because when it is lightly roasted it gives off an incredible aroma that pairs perfectly with sweet orange essential oil.
We lightly roast and grind our coffee beans by hand to prevent excess moisture loss from over-roasting and to gently release the natural oils and aroma.
We grind the brown sugar and use a fine siv to ensure each granule is small enough to not irritate the skin.
This coffee scrub has only five natural ingredients — they are ground and mixed by hand because we believe this product requires a human touch to ensure its quality.
1. Wet: Wet your skin thoroughly while you are in the shower
2. Apply: Add a couple of spoonfuls of scrub to your hand, and then gently massage it into your skin for two to three minutes in a circular motion
3. Rinse: Rinse your body with water, the coffee is 100% biodegradable and won't harm the environment
